I never remember reading being a challenge for me, but I do remember sitting down with my mom and learning how to do it. I learned how to read before I started school. I don't think that I really liked it at first, but I evemtually found my own style of reading. As I got older I started to figure out what genre I liked. When I was in elementry school, I was really into the Hank the Cowdog series. I loved all of Hank,s crazy adventures. As I got older and started middle school, I found another series that I really liked, The Hardy Boys.
I loved to read about the young detectives and all of their mysteries. It was also a good choice to read the seires because my Dad used to read them when he was that age, and so it gave me someone to talk to about the books. When I started Jr.High I kind of went backwards, I didnt read as much and only did it when it was required of me. I found other things to read that peak my intrest. I have always really been into cars, and so I found magazines about them and I began to like reading once more. I still read magazines like, Car and Driver and MotorTrend. All in all I believe that reading is important for anyone, in any field of work to learn, and that it can not only be relaxing, but also good for your mind.
I like your growth of maturity through your reading! excellent job!
ReplyDeletevery good writing, remeber RIP words...kill them!
ReplyDeleteI like this a lot and was expecting to see more though. I agree with Austin and Kristen. Keep up the good work and always try your best. Use spell check next time. Hoorah.
ReplyDeleteGreat writing, maybe add more details though. I agree with Bayley use spell check before you post it. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI also started to read before I started school. I believe that your favorite books to read would be about cars, because that is all you talk about! Make sure to reread what you write, before you publish it next time.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kristen and Tiffany. More detail would be nice, and using alternative words to emphasize certain things is always good, too! :)
